Vaujany in Winter

The Vaujany ski area is an integral part of an enormous domain covering 8 ski resorts:

Alpe D'Huez, Auris, Clavans, Le Freney d'Oisans, La Garde, Oz en Oisans, Villard Reculas and Vaujany.

The 160 person cable car takes you from the village at 1250m to 2800m in minutes.  A further cable car takes you to Pic Blanc at 3,300m.  From here there are panoramic views of Mont Blanc, the Grand Paradis, the Meije and the Ecrin National Park.

Ski-ing down offers a choice of 220 km of managed slopes of huge variety and for all skill levels, including four vertical descents of 2000m each. Your options are virtually unlimited.

Alternatively take the Gondola to Montfrais, a sunny spot for lunch and where the ski school's Jardin de Neige is located.
